Scope
This policy applies to Promptcred’s public website and the pages, research, prompt records, and product information published on it. If Promptcred adds account registration, user profiles, or submission forms, this policy will describe the related data practices.
Other websites and services linked from Promptcred have their own privacy practices. Their policies apply when you leave this site.
Information processed automatically
When your browser requests a page, hosting, delivery, and security systems may process technical request data. This can include an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, referring page, browser and device information, response status, error details, and signals used to detect abuse or protect the service.
Promptcred and its infrastructure providers may use server or security logs to deliver pages, diagnose failures, maintain availability, investigate misuse, and protect the site. Promptcred uses these technical records for delivery, security, and operational purposes.
Hosting, delivery, and security
Promptcred may rely on service providers for hosting, content delivery, domain services, traffic protection, and related infrastructure. Cloudflare is one example of an infrastructure provider that may process requests as part of delivering or protecting a site. Provider processing is governed by the provider’s own terms and privacy documentation.
Infrastructure providers can change as the site develops. This policy will be updated when a provider materially changes how visitor information is processed.
Cookies and local browser storage
Promptcred stores your selected light or dark theme in local browser storage so the preference persists. That preference stays in your browser unless you clear it. Not every technology described in this policy is necessarily active at all times.
Necessary infrastructure may use technical storage or similar mechanisms for security and service delivery where needed. Where relevant, provider-specific details may appear in this policy, an applicable consent or preference interface, or linked provider documentation. The Cookie Policy explains the categories and controls that apply when optional technologies are enabled.
Analytics and measurement
Promptcred may use analytics or audience-measurement services, including Google Analytics. Where a service is enabled, it may process page visits, interactions, device and browser data, approximate location derived from an IP address, and referral information. Non-essential measurement is subject to the consent or choice controls required for the service and the visitor’s circumstances.
Promptcred may use aggregate reports to understand site reliability, discoverability, and which public pages are useful. Such reports do not change the evidence or editorial standards applied to published records.
Advertising and Google services
Promptcred may use advertising services such as Google AdSense. Where advertising services are enabled, third-party advertising providers may place or read cookies in a visitor’s browser and use pixels, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers. They may process browser and device information, page or request information, and advertising or measurement interactions for ad serving, measurement, frequency management, fraud and security protection, and personalized advertising where permitted. Non-personalized advertising may still use contextual information, general location, frequency controls, and fraud-prevention signals.
If Promptcred uses Google advertising or analytics services, information may be shared with Google as described in Google’s explanation of how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Any required consent interface would distinguish optional purposes and provide a way to change or withdraw choices.
Search and webmaster services
Promptcred may use webmaster services such as Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools to review indexing status, search visibility, crawl errors, and aggregate search performance. Verifying site ownership or viewing reports in those services does not by itself mean that Promptcred has installed an audience analytics script or advertising tracker.
Why information may be processed
Promptcred may process limited information to provide requested pages, remember a theme choice, secure and maintain the site, diagnose technical problems, understand aggregate performance, respond to privacy or legal requests, enforce the Terms of Use, preserve records needed for disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.
Retention
Promptcred keeps information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was processed, including security, operational, legal, and recordkeeping needs. Retention can vary by data type and provider. Infrastructure providers may maintain their own logs under their published policies and service terms.
Your theme preference remains in local browser storage until you change it, clear site data, or use a browser setting that removes it.
Service providers and international processing
Providers that host, deliver, secure, measure, or support the site may process information on Promptcred’s behalf or under their own stated responsibilities. Their systems may operate in countries other than the one where you live. Material changes to provider processing will be reflected in this policy.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can change the site theme at any time, clear local storage in your browser, and use browser settings to restrict cookies or other storage. Blocking necessary technology can affect site delivery or security. Where non-essential analytics, advertising, or other optional technology is enabled, Promptcred provides the consent or preference controls required for that technology and the visitor’s circumstances.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to ask about personal information, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant authority. Applicable law may also provide choices about targeted advertising, certain sale or sharing concepts, or profiling, and may allow an appeal of a privacy-request decision. These rights can have legal limits. Promptcred may need enough information to understand and verify a request.
Security
Promptcred uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the site and information processed through it. No internet transmission, storage system, or security control can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Promptcred is a general-audience reference site and is not directed to children. The site does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Promptcred, use the contact control below.
Policy updates
This policy may change when the site, its providers, or applicable requirements change. Promptcred will update the date at the top and revise the relevant sections. Material changes may receive a more prominent notice when appropriate.
Contact
Use the privacy contact for questions about this policy or requests concerning personal information. Include enough detail for Promptcred to understand the request, but do not send sensitive credentials or confidential prompt content.
